ST. DAVID

M/Y St. David is a 60 m (197 ft) Benetti delivered in 2008, with exterior and interior design by Winch Design. Between 2016 and 2025, WOSA Yacht Refit & Survey managed her seasonal refit programmes, a long-term series that combined major exterior restoration with structural, machinery and preventive maintenance.

"WOSA has been a long-standing partner with the management company of the vessel, and we have had many projects with them. They are competitive, and we have managed to deliver results in the past. "Italian Skills, British Efficiency", I guess it’s fair to say that it’s well deserved."

Inside the refit of M/Y St. David
St. David was delivered by Benetti in 2008, and between 2016 and 2025 her refits with WOSA took the form of a long-term series of seasonal programmes rather than a single project. Together, they combined major exterior restoration with structural, machinery and preventive maintenance, managed through seasonal worklists, inspections and change orders.
On the outside, WOSA managed complete repainting programmes, from surface preparation and fairing to access management and final quality control. Areas affected by corrosion, impact or previous maintenance were repaired locally and their coatings rectified, and structural repairs were carried out on specific parts of the yacht.
The repaint reached the details as well. The gangway was removed and reinstalled so that the surfaces concealed behind it could be repainted correctly, and the fairleads and other selected fittings were restored and faired to recover their geometry and finish. Once painting was complete, the deck hardware was serviced and reinstated, her lettering and name were renewed and the visible surfaces received a final cosmetic detailing.
Below deck, the programmes covered routine servicing of engine-room equipment and the testing of the main engines’ safety devices and alarms. Corrosion mapping and condition reporting documented the state of the yacht, classification-related maintenance was carried out, and the seasonal preparation also included ozone treatment and interior sanitation.
