ROSE D’OR
M/Y Rose d’Or is a 62 m (203 ft) Sanlorenzo 62Steel delivered in 2023, with exterior design by Officina Italiana Design. WOSA Yacht Refit & Survey managed her refit, a project that combined the restoration of her exterior with works on her fuel, electrical, fire safety and air-conditioning systems.

Inside the refit of M/Y Rose d'Or

Rose d’Or was delivered by Sanlorenzo in 2023, so her refit with WOSA was less about change than about keeping a young yacht at her original standard. It was a structured refit, combining the restoration of her exterior with the maintenance of her electrical, safety and air-conditioning systems, and WOSA managed the master worklist, its variations and change orders throughout the yard period.
The most visible part of the refit was her paintwork. Selected areas were repaired and refinished to recover a uniform gloss, colour and surface quality, with scaffolding and protected access arranged so that the elevated and exterior works could be carried out safely. On deck, the glass of the pool area and its adjacent finishes were restored and detailed.
Beyond the paintwork, the programme turned to the systems that keep the yacht running and safe. The main switchboard and its associated electrical equipment were cleaned and maintained, and the air-conditioning and ventilation were serviced to restore correct operation and reliability through the season. On the fuel system, tank-related works and technical interventions on its components were carried out as required by the worklist. The fire-detection and alarm systems were serviced and tested, and the defects identified were followed up.
