“Working with WOSA feels like working with family. Their team always finds solutions and makes things happen. What I value most is how clear and well planned the refit is from the start, with no hidden costs or surprises. They’re honest, reliable, easy to work with, and always present on site. I’m very happy to recommend WOSA”

Inside the refit of M/Y La Familia
2020
In 2020, WOSA managed a nine-month refit of La Familia. Her exterior was completely repainted and the interior furniture was revarnished throughout the yacht, while the main engines and generators received special maintenance alongside routine servicing of the engine-room equipment.
2023
La Familia was delivered by Amels in 2015 as one of the shipyard’s Limited Editions 180 yachts, and this refit combined engineering maintenance, safety-system servicing and refined decorative work, with the aim of preserving the yacht’s distinctive character.
On the decorative side, interior and exterior varnish was restored, including in the master cabin and selected high-visibility guest areas, and the bathing platform was repaired and finished in coordination with the wider exterior programme. Below the waterline, the antifouling was renewed and PropSpeed was applied to the relevant appendages and running gear.
On the engineering side, the propeller was repaired and the rudder pressure-tested, with condition checks before her return to service. The stabiliser power pack was maintained, the windlass and hydraulic systems were serviced, and the heat exchangers were serviced as part of the routine engine-room maintenance that supports her seasonal reliability. The Hi-Fog firefighting system was maintained and the safety-critical equipment functionally verified, and the tanks and water-treatment system were inspected, cleaned and checked in operation.
