About the project

Inside the refit of M/Y Grand Rusalina

2022

Grand Rusalina was delivered by Trinity Yachts in 2006, and across 2021 and 2022 WOSA managed a major refit that combined full exterior repainting with interior restoration, survey work and targeted engineering improvements.

Her exterior was completely repainted, followed by maintenance of the hull paint to restore its finish quality. Inside, varnished surfaces and furniture in the accommodation areas were restored, and interior works and finishing were carried out on the lower deck, in both crew and guest areas.

On the technical side, protective coatings were applied or restored inside selected technical tanks, and the grey- and black-water pipelines were repaired and modified where required. The rudder bearings were inspected and their condition documented in a technical report.

WOSA also managed the yard services that supported the refit, from tender logistics and access arrangements to general shipyard services, and coordinated the contractors, inspecting the completed works before handover.

2020

In 2020, WOSA managed a nine-month refit of Grand Rusalina that included her special class survey works. All the tanks were cleaned and repainted, two ballast tanks were converted into black-water tanks, and the internal bulkheads were repainted, while the main engines and generators received routine maintenance.
