OM was delivered by Rossinavi in 2017, and between 2022 and 2025 WOSA’s work on her took the form of a continuing programme of condition assessment and seasonal refits, together with the preparation for a major classification milestone, her ten-year special class survey.

Preparing for the survey meant reviewing the technical priorities and the access requirements in advance. Corrosion findings were inspected, mapped and reported to support repair planning and the owner’s decisions, and the black-water tank access was modified to improve inspection and future maintainability.

Technical investigation and troubleshooting were carried out on machinery, piping and onboard systems, and bespoke components were fabricated to resolve technical or installation issues identified during the refit. Repairs were made to stairs and joinery, with careful restoration of their visible finishes, and interior and exterior decorative surfaces affected by wear or modifications were restored locally.

Each year, WOSA developed the worklist and acted as the interface with surveyors, contractors, the captain and the crew.
